When I leave the computer for a while, I get back and the screen is blank. When I wiggle the mouse the screen won`t `wake up`. I`ve been to control panel and checked the bit that lets you set up how long it should be before it starts `hibernating` and I`ve got that set to 3 mins. But why won`t my monitor wake up and come back to life? I can tell that the computer is still on but I have to do an emergency shut down and re-boot. As you can see, I`m no techie, so can anyone help me by explaining in words of one syllable what I should do. NB It really has to be an idiot`s guide to solving the problem!!
