should have made some dinner but went for a fly off to more distant places: Italy is good: I went over to Florence and the Brunelleschi Duomo, the Pitti Palace, St. Peter’s in the Vatican and the Ponte Vecchio. And on to Rome and the Colliseum, Castel d’Angelo down the Tiber to Ostia Antica which is amazing, I must have only seen a tiny fraction of it on a visit. Then down to Naples and hovered right over the centre of the crater of Vesuvius but Pompei wasn’t as clear as Ostia. Finally checked out the Parthenon on the Athenian Acropolis.

I just wish went it powered up it didn’t hover over the middle of the USA; can you set your own personal ‘home view’??

Vesuvius & Pompeii were amongst the first places I went!! If you would like it to open above your own place then do the following: Uncheck the Default box in LH column marked Places Rotate Planet to view you’d like (eg Above Britain) Go to Edit, then click on Snapshot

Close Prog and re-open, Earth should rotate to your desired location!!

Should Add – Do NOT zoom in at start, just rotate.

Abergevenny is out and whole A4042 road up to it is out to from the A472 upwards. the high res. zone ends between that road and the road from Pontypool to Blaenavon, Cymavon Road, (abt. 1.5 to 1.6 miles west of the A4042 is the boundary) and the line then curves round to the west.

sorry…

Thanks, I may be able to grab a tiny portion of this and that but not much, Henllys vale should be on there though so my luck may still be in.
