Don’t be silly – just because it was such a good ‘un that we couldn’t get it! I’m still none the wiser about where it is, or what’s the Roman connection you mentioned. Did they re-use Roman stone to build it? If so I really really really want to know all about it, as I’m sort of compiling a database about that, ever since I found huge chunks of Wroxeter in all the old churches for miles around. Some of it’s recorded, but a lot more isn’t.
