Although I don’t post much on the Forum these days due to work and University commitments I still keep ‘in touch’ through Dad (Ian G.). I have always been interested in history since school, but became involved in archaeology at the amateur level through the influence of my father. Although I have little time for practical work, I have undertaken some fieldwork through the local group. Most of my time these days is taken up by completing a BA (Hons) in Social and Behavioural Studies at Hull University; my Dissertation just nicely underway.
On a personal note, I have a lot to thank the Forum for since through it I met my future wife Emma (Emma L.) and we are, at present, planning our wedding on Aug.18th 2001 (an open invite to all FF is cordially extended by both of us).
By profession, I am an Operating Theatre nurse (some 18 years service) specialising in Elective and Trauma Orthopaedics; at present seconded to the Orthopaedic Trauma Team at Hull Royal Infirmary I plan to move down to Dorset in the New Year.
