Born in the doldrums of Doncaster and escaped to the University of York in 1998, I was stigmatised after birth by contracting jaundice and dressed in a very fetching lime green jumpsuit. The witty consultant at the hospital promptly dubbed me the’ Little Yellow Buddha from the North of Kathmandu’. These days I am called anything from ‘Caza’ to ‘Gannet’ or ‘Loopy’ (thanks to Andy T for this one).
I intend to go into archaeology as a career and am a theatre nut (although from the audience standpoint: I show myself up any way so there ain’t a need for me to do it as someone else). Apparently I am ‘obsessed’ with Sir Antony Sher because I have done a web site on him. Well Kathy M liked it!!
I don’t have any pets although I do live with Andy T at present! In actual fact I have asthma which prevents me from becoming attached to furry animals and I am too busy to look after anything else. I am described as OTT, outgoing and profoundly bonkers but personally I think I am rather shy!
I do not intend to put a physical description of myself up (this isn’t a dating agency) because I think certain people intend to furnish my Biography with a photo or some other imago!
Special Interest Areas
Archaeological Illustration, especially finds as well as use of computer programs such as AUTO-CAD. Period wise, I am a medievalist and post medievalist although I do have a sideline in Roman studies. Other archaeological interests are heritage (presentation, interpretation) and battlefields of all periods.
