The stuff about Ravenser Odd spoken of is a rather lengthy, but hopefully informative history of one of England’s – dare I say – Oddest places geographically. Perched as it was, briefly, on the tip of Spurn Point for little more than a century before being washed away by the sea that created it. Next up is the history of fishing, maritime and riverine from the last glaciation 10,000 years ago, right up to 1800 AD. Some task, but the challenge was made, and accepted.
