Forthcoming Trips – Post details in here of your planned trips

A number of forum users have formed regional groups over the last few years and have organised regular field trips visiting places of historical interest , – anyone is welcome to come along to these trips / meetings, including children. TIME TEAM FORUM FRIENDS :: FAQ

The times are not correct!

The times are almost certainly correct; however, what you may be seeing are times displayed in a timezone different from the one you are in. If this is the case, you should change your profile setting for the timezone to match your particular area, e.g. London, Paris, New York, Sydney, etc. Please note that changing the timezone, like most settings, can only be done by registered users. So if you are not registered, this is a good time to do so, if you pardon the pun!

Time Team Forum Friends :: View topic – Yorkshire History

The stuff about Ravenser Odd spoken of is a rather lengthy, but hopefully informative history of one of England’s – dare I say – Oddest places geographically. Perched as it was, briefly, on the tip of Spurn Point for little more than a century before being washed away by the sea that created it. Next up is the history of fishing, maritime and riverine from the last glaciation 10,000 years ago, right up to 1800 AD. Some task, but the challenge was made, and accepted. It might take a while, but it will be done —- I hope!! Season’s greetings to you all Richard_________________

Anyway, ourpasthistory.com is the addy for the site I’ve created for Darwen Archaeology Society. It is still a work in progress as I am still receiving info although not as frequently as I’d hoped!!

I am looking into changing the Home page somehow and I do have a couple of ideas.

So!!!! Comments please on how you think it looks and you think it needs will be gratefully accepted
