Does anyone fancy a trip in or around Newcaslte on Sunday 9th October? Possibilities include: Segedunum Roman fort, Arbeia Roman fort, Tynemouth castle and priory, Newcastle castle, the city centre museums, Stephenson railway musuem, or further afield – gateshead, durham, sunderland, berwick, Alnwick, Carlisle, Edinburgh even maybe, etc. Basically anywhere within about 3 hours public…Continue…

Not bad, I am steadily emptying my kitchen over the next few days, as in about a week’s time I am getting the position of my living room/kitchen door moved prepartaory to having new kitchen units put in. That’s going to take up most of my holiday allocation for this year, so I can’t see…Continue…
