My ‘Im indoors has a dream of going one better than that – he wants the whole railway! It’s only narrow gauge though – the Glyn Valley Tramway, which actually wasn’t a tramway but a light railway. We own about a quarter of a mile of the original trackbed, so now all he needs is a couple of miles more, plus track, signalling, locomotive(s), rolling stock, engine shed….
Oh, by the way, he’s already got a standard gauge DMU, on permanent loan to the Llangollen Railway. 
In the absence of several million quid, he’ll have to make do with a new mobile phone to replace the 5 year old brick sized one he’s still using.
