Off to the Doc's this afternoon - finally got rid of this darn cold but have lost the hearing in my left ear!

'Morning' all. I'll put the heat on under the tea urn. Free tea for life to whoever comes up with a cure for the common cold. Sniff. Cough.

No cure, but hot water, honey, lemon and whisky or rum may help!

Echinacea works too.

Have a mulled welly meanwhile and a shot of flaming blue stuff!

I seem to have turned into a machine to turn tea into snot. Poor little conk is nearly worn away. Consequently I'll have a shot of blue stuff, but unlit if that's ok?

This particular cold bug seems to have spread like wildfire and lingers on. So all I can suggest is keep up with the blue stuff Janet!

Had to listen to the rugger on AM radio, on account of being on the M6. Very zen.

Evening wellies and nibbles on the bar for all as we get ready to watch the American Superbowl. I'll just put up a few American decorations for the event.

Do you think Yankee Candles count???

The Steam Powered Telly just about coped with all the Sports Coverage over the weekend. I think we need to get it serviced. Who has the number of the engineer??

I'm stacking logs on the fire, it's blooming ffffffreezing outside, with little bits of white stuff falling from the sky...

Bacon rolls, and porridge is on the stove, to help keep you all warm. Oh and a pan of mulled wine for later.

Sorry to hear that Lyn. It has been a nice spring day here - blue sky, sunshine and no snow or rain but still freezing cold ;)
